1. He would rather sleep than eat.
2. He has his mommy's toes.
3. He has his daddy's calm outlook on life.
4. He sleeps like his mommy - arms and legs everywhere. He hates to be wrapped up too tightly.
5. He has beautiful blue eyes (that probably won't stay blue, but they're beautiful nonetheless!)

Caleb
I would like to wax long and poetic about our experience over the last 36 hours, welcoming little Caleb into our family.
But, quite frankly, I'm too tired, so it will have to wait.
Briefly, though, born at 4:22 this morning, Caleb followed in his mother's footsteps and took his own sweet time making his way into the world. Two threats of c-section and stalling a couple of times made for a very long day and night. His mom was a real trouper. And his dad was a perfect coach. I'm so proud of both of them.
Seeing then that I can hardly put two words together in an intelligible sentence and any worthwhile prose will have to wait for another day, I will just say this.
I think I'm in love.
