Copy Madness

So, Friday I was working away, getting lots of stuff done and had to fax a document to another department in the hospital. No big deal, right? Just put the document in the fax machine, dial the number (7035), and walk away. Easy as pie.

Unless it's a combination fax/copier and you forget to hit the "fax" button.

Twenty minutes after hitting the start button, I hear someone say "who's big copy job is this? 7035 copies????".

Uh-oh.

I go running out there and, sure enough, the copier is 800 copies into faithfully doing what I told it to, which is to make 7035 copies.

The worst part is - no one is ever going to let me live it down.
