Looking for something fun to do, we decided to check out a local Irish Pub/Restaurant called MacCool's. We ate traditional Irish fare - Pierogies and Boxty's (potato pancake crepes filled with all kinds of good stuff like corned beef and cabbage) - listened to fun Irish music, and had a great time pretending we were in Dublin.
They had these lovely little shamrocks on the table and I just couldn't resist. They were just so
gleoite and
cuannach (pretty and charming) that I had to have some pictures of them. Aren't they sweet?
"May your blessings outnumber
the shamrocks that grow,
And may trouble avoid you wherever you go."
